The RRC Publishing Collective™

For builders who understand that a book is the beginning, not the product.

For indie authors, publishing professionals, and intellectual property builders.

About This Club

Reid & Reid Consulting™ did not build a publishing catalog to produce books. It built an intellectual property ecosystem: six imprints, seven authors, a ventures portfolio, and the operational infrastructure that holds all of it together. The RRC Publishing Collective™ exists for the reader who arrived here through the catalog and stayed because they recognized something about the architecture. That reader is not merely a consumer of books. They are a builder.

The books published under RRC Professional Press™ are operational. They exist because the work they describe actually works, and because that work is too specific and too valuable to leave undocumented. The Credit Repair Operations Manual exists in two volumes because the system it describes requires two volumes to explain correctly. The Collective reads these texts as practitioners, not as students, and the discussions reflect that distinction.

This club is for authors who are building imprints, not merely self-publishing titles. It is for independent operators who understand that a book is a business asset before it is a cultural artifact. The conversation here runs at the level of infrastructure: distribution decisions, IP ownership, editorial architecture, catalog strategy. If you have ever looked at a publishing catalog and wondered how the operational decisions behind it were made, this is where those decisions are examined.

The Credit Repair Operations Manual Vol. 2

by Reid and Reid Consulting

Volume 2 of the Credit Repair Operations Manual extends the system framework established in Volume 1, with the specificity of practitioners who have run the process under real conditions. Reid and Reid Consulting write not as theorists but as operators who have built and tested what they are describing.

Structure

How the Club Works

1

The Collective meets monthly around a single text, selected from the RRC Professional Press™ catalog or from the wider independent publishing infrastructure literature. Selections are practical by design: these are books that contain actionable knowledge, and the discussion treats them as such.

2

Discussion is structured around extraction: what does this book tell us that we can use? Themes, principles, systems, and the specific questions it raises about how we are building our own operations. This is not a book club that reads for feeling. It reads for intelligence.

3

The community is made up of practitioners at different stages: authors with one title and a vision for many, operators who have been building for years, and professionals who came to independent publishing from adjacent industries. The Collective values that range because the most useful conversations tend to happen at the intersections.

Editorial Pillars

What This Club Reads For

Publishing Infrastructure as Strategy

The Collective reads for the structural decisions that define how an independent publishing operation is built: imprint architecture, distribution relationships, IP ownership, catalog planning. These are the decisions that compound over time, and the Collective treats them accordingly.

The Operational Behind the Editorial

Every editorial decision has an operational consequence, and every operational decision shapes what editorial is possible. The Collective reads at that intersection, with attention to the parts of publishing that are rarely discussed in public and almost never documented.

Building for Longevity, Not Volume

RRC Professional Press™ is not interested in publishing fast. It is interested in publishing well, with the long-term leverage of intellectual property in mind. The Collective discusses what that orientation looks like in practice and what it requires authors and operators to give up.
